The Monster Ball tour was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. This girl can really perform both upbeat dancey numbers that she is known for but also excels at the piano. I think the concert had a good balance of piano numbers, typical gaga songs as well as interaction with the audience. the message she hammers home throughout of acceptance etc is really inspiring. I don’t think you know the real gaga unless you see her concert. The set, costumes (fashion), the audiovisuals and the general structure of the concert were also outstanding. Never a dull moment, even when she wasn’t on stage she kept the energy and built hype with the striking interludes. A MUST BUY!

This is my first blu-ray concert purchase and I’m incredibly impressed with the level of detail that can be seen in her outfits…coupled with a wide variety of great views of everything that’s going on this is a very satisfying visual feast.
LG is also in great singing form and the sound is generally excellent….Born This Way was particularly impressive and I loved So Happy I Could Die and her interuption during Speechless was particularly fun to listen to….many of the ‘between song’ segments feature black & white behind the scene costume change footage and some had ‘acting’ which I’d have put at the end of the chapter rather than the beginning so you can more easily skip them. Paparazzi was the only personal minor disappointment as I absolutely love the sensuality of the mirror mask thing she used to do (Glastonbury 2008 etc) but at least the flaming bra is still part of her dress list, now paired with flaming knickers too!
M*donna didn’t feature in this concert at all that I can see, though there was a glimpse of both Sir Paul McCartney and Liza Minelli in the audience as well as ‘Jesus Christ’ on a glittery Les Paul.
Basically all Lady Gaga fans should be buying this.

I saw her at the O2 in London amazing start to finish a must buy not a dull moment no wonder it ran and ran the tour that is..
